Swinging at Shaka
We did the shots up in a warehouse gym in Mahopac, New York…. At one point I had him take some shots on the camera and I was afraid I was going to have the eyepiece imbedded in my face!

Every painting requires close attention to the detail. Her portrait was a performance and she chose to dress up for it, rather than be seen with brush in hand.
